20th-Apr-2012 12:00 am - 生日快乐, 鹿晗!
Happy birthday to the most handsome, breath-taking, baby-faced, amazing Chinese man in the world!
(Ignoring my one-sided crush of ~6 years right now.)

It's amazing that you've only entered my life within the last 3 months and already you've carved yourself a special place in my heart. You may not be the strongest singer in the group nor the best dancer but your bright smile never fails to paste a grin on my face and the endearing, kind, soft-spoken yet playful personality that has shown through the brief and adorably awkward appearances on videos and photos has already pulled at my heartstrings. Thank you for being you and I wish you all the blessings in the world!

----

I have resurrected from exam hell for Lu Han's special day!

Okay, so I haven't been studying the whole time. I was distracted by EXO, mainly, and I don't feel confident about my exams at all (well, mostly chem). I can't even do anything about it anymore. orz. Then I had to go ahead and pick the worst time to get a cold and a migraine. All the fails of the world. Thankfully I only have Japanese left and that won't be too hard as long as I remember vocabulary.
Why am I tarnishing Lu Han's birthday post with this? D: Someone stop me!

Anyway, EXO-K has been improving their live performances so much in such a short time span! I'm so proud! *wipes tears of joy* So take that, haters! But SHINee ended promotions already! D: I was anticipating a SHINee + EXO collaboration! :c EXO-M is also going to end promotions in China soon and will go back to Korea! (Yay! They are one once more!) I wish we could see all 12 in shows together.

Now I must go try to sleep early *scoffs* (is 12am considered early? I don't even know anymore) for once in... forever... because my head hurts.

13th-Apr-2012 02:52 pm - EXO-K's @ Music Bank 4.13.2012
Their first live performance!!!!

I was so excited! But why must all these programs be at such an annoying time? I almost got caught at 5:30 in the morning, right before their performance and almost missed it. Seriously, I almost had a heart attack when my dad suddenly opened the door of my room and went downstairs. (Why did he wake up so early today of all days anyway? >.<) Well, this will probably the last time I'll be staying up so late since my exams actually start next week. I should really focus on chem now.

Anyway, back to the performance.

The poor boys were so nervous! Especially in History! I felt nervous with them. It doesn't help that both performances involve a lot of footwork (they practically don't stay still at all in History after all). But they did it! And they sang every single line, including the chorus (which many groups tend to lip-synch) and the moaning parts.
D.O was definitely the most nervous, although I kind of expected this from him. (I mean, look at those eyes!) But he did very well in MAMA. Actually, they all did very well in MAMA. History was, to be honest, a disappointment but, considering how nervous they were and the difficulty, I understand. I was very impressed with the stability of Baekhyun and Suho's voices. I was so proud when Baekhyun started belting those notes! And Chanyeol's voice! >.< Sehun did a good job with the few lines he had. c: And Kai did very well considering how hard he had to dance. I can't imagine having to do that screaming right after a dance break. The moaning parts could have been better too but it was right after the dance break so, once again, understandable. They might have to work on keeping the microphone at the right distance (unless they were just breathless at those parts).
Unrelated to the singing... can someone stop their stylist from messing with Kai and Chanyeol's hair? Seriously.

All in all, good job! I'm sure that with more live performances, they'll do much better and get over their nervousness. (Maybe if SM had made them sing live initially, they would be used to it already but who knows?)

On another note, the SHINee-EXO interactions made me a very happy Shawol-Exotic. c:
luhan
Fudge.

EXO is completely wrecking my sleeping patterns (not that I ever had a regular sleeping pattern since 7th grade anyway) and exam studying. orz

All these late night live streams are making me function in a totally different time zone.

YOUKU:
- All of them were much more lively and interactive today. c: Probably because it was in the afternoon. But we international fans are dying. Plus the MC was very lively too.
- They were playing DBSK's "Doushite Kimi wo Suki Natte Shimattandarou" the whole time. *fangirls*
- The screen beside them kept on either showing the MAMA MV or alternating between 2 pictures of Chanyeol and Baekhyun. ._.
- anflnaefhbwiefn!!!!! Lu Han's fail aegyo! nfsahfefjnl *dies* It doesn't even matter that he can't do aegyo (and you could totally tell that he didn't know what to do and he was thinking "fml") because everything he does is just adorable! *dies again*
- omg fudge. Kris knows about the fancam of him and Tao. Meaning that there is an exceptionally high possibility of him having seen all those crazy comments on the videos and every other crazy thing we put up on the internet. O___________O (The perverted fans' only saving grace right now is the fact that YT is blocked in China.)
- They know the nicknames the fans give them. O_O
- Lu Han's nickname: Marilyn Monroe (pronounced "Meng-ro" because "meng" means "cute"). >U< Then the MC tried to make him do her famous pose but he was too shy. >U< *dies*
- So, let me get this straight: Sina interview: Kris and Lu Han are laziest. Sohu interview: Lu Han is laziest. Youku interview: No one is laziest. *suspicious*
- Lu Han and the MC kept on calling Xiu Min Baozi! XD Then he corrected Lu Han and said "It's Xiu Min!" XD
- Because Kris' hobby is lyrics composition and Lay's is music composition, the MC declares them a perfect couple. (oh no, the shippers.)
- Yup, Lu Han is definitely the skinship king. And he blinks a lot. (But not nearly as much as Taemin did in their debut days.)
- Everyone calls Lu Han pretty/cute. I swear, no one can escape his charms. Nor can I but I'm not complaining.
- Chen and Xiu Min talked a lot more. c:
- This MC knows the way into their hearts: food. XD I loved the way Tao instantly became happy and how cute they all looked while they were eating. >U< Lu Han was trying to identify the Beijing cuisines and Tao didn't have one of the dishes so the MC gave it to him and he became very happy. lol
- Lu Han's second (the first one was in a show that hasn't aired yet but the video is out) birthday message to Sehun~ Best friends <3
- Darn you Chen and your ability to eat as much as you can without gaining weight. Xiu Min and I are going to shun you!
- Chen's life basically revolves around music, it seems. I mean, his specialty is music and his hobby is listening to music.
- Tao likes yoga. c:
- Xiu Min and Lu Han play soccer together. c:
- Kris is most fashionable/cares about his looks the most and will help the others choose clothes and cook for them (although not all that well, says Tao).
- Lu Han is manly despite his cute exterior. (Although, you can kind of tell from the way he behaves so... I don't get how people are calling him feminine to be honest. ._.) He brought Lay to the hospital when he was hurt and the manager wasn't there. >U<
- Kris trying not to appear to be a loner in Korea because he only visits home 1/2 times a year by saying that he has the other members. (Well, it's true but it's just funny if you think of it that way.)
- Xiu Min is the strongest! I bet it's from his taekwondo training.
- Tao calling himself the Kungfu Panda of EXO-M! >U<
- Tao calling Xiu Min "Oppa" the first time they met because he didn't know Korean and only picked it up from Korean dramas without knowing that it was only for younger females. >U< lol

M Countdown:
(- I wasn't going to watch because it was at 5 in the morning but... darn fangirling tendencies.)
- They appeared near the beginning and we didn't even get an interview before they appeared. ._. Although there are backstage stuff appearing on the internet now so maybe it happened after the performance. (I basically went to bed right after they finished.)
- Lip synch again. :c I'm not sure if it's because of SM or because they're still injured. (Including Lay now. :c That's 1/3 of EXO within the week of their debut! D:)
- Baekhyun's hair. orz Wae~?! It looked like he had helmet hair.
- And he didn't have guyliner. Shocking. But he's adorable without it.
- We didn't get enough screen time for Suho... And Chanyeol, I think.
 - It's Sehun's birthday~~~! So beforehand, they had cake. And after the performance, they had his birthday event. c: (lol- all of the members were focusing more on the cake than the actual event. Especially Kai XD)

I think there's another stream for EXO-K tomorrow/tonight. orz The death of me. EXO is an addiction, I tell you.

11th-Apr-2012 01:00 am - EXO-M Sohu livechat 04.11.2012

See, Sina! At least Sohu likes me! (but it won't let me chat... oh well. Not like I can type in Chinese anyway. I just randomly comment in Japanese and English for the heck of it.) Hmph. I am still bitter.

In general/All of EXO-M:
- All of them are still so awkward, shy and humble. *huggles*
- The end was hilarious! They officially ended but the mikes were still on so you could hear them talk and someone (I have a feeling that it's Lu Han, but I could be wrong) was singing so beautifully then suddenly the camera comes back on to see them holding Sohu's mascot (a fox) and staring randomly before the chat stops completely. XD
- They all look so tired. :c
- Kris says that they don't have girlfriends because they're focusing on work. (tell us something new.)
- Room mates: Kris/Chen, Lu Han/Lay (why did I guess that?), Xiu Min/Tao (Oldest/Maknae combo again!)
- I want those EXO accessories.
- Another Lu Han birthday cake! (I want) If you guys keep on getting cake this week, you'll get fat- lol- not possible.
- Team chant: "EXO Saranghaja!" (I find it cute)
- All the Chinese members have cried because of homesickness. ;A;
- All of them gave encouragement to fans, telling them to follow their dreams and not to give up. c:

Lu Han:
- Laziest in the morning/Hardest to wake up. (Then blames his alarm clock for being quiet.) We are definitely made to be! *Yabu and Taemin stare at me accusingly.* Uh... See this is why I have now separated my bias list by ethnicity.
- (Once again) Ideal type: quiet and shy (O_O I actually understood that when he said it. Years of listening to Mando-pop, thank you!) And once again, quirks eyebrow suggestively.
- Seriously, you look half asleep. *insert the cute blank face*
- Baby face strikes again XD
- I don't understand why they need a translator when you're right there translating everything for Xiu Min anyway. Just plant yourself in between Chen and Xiu Min in each interview already.
- Skinship king, I say.
- Apparently took the huge fox plushie while everyone else took a small one and he was very pleased. XD You are too cute.

Lay:
- Yay, you brought a guitar! (Where the heck did it some from though? O_o) Singing a David Tao song while playing. <3
- Misses his family. At one point, didn't see them for ~2 years. ;A; (Did he get to talk to them at the showcase?)
- Kris and he have similar ideal types but, in the event that they like the same girl, he would give up the girl for Kris because he's older. *there there*
- Didn't talk so much. :c

Tao:
- You're so shy. >.< The way you sit and your quiet voice makes me want to hug you.
- Cries the easiest. For sad movies, when the members talk about ghosts, etc. (As if we weren't already shocked enough to find out that our ninja maknae was the best at aegyo. Just let me hug you already!)
- The random zoom in of your butt when cutting the cake! XD omg. *dies of laughter*
- Drops the microphone from out of the blue. XD
- So, yesterday, you said that you had no ideal type and now you say that you thought about it and you like girls who "have nice personalities and nice bodies"? .___________. I'm not sure what to say.
- Eats the most. (Probably because of the wushu)

Kris:
- Hasn't gone home for Chinese New Year and didn't even call because he would be too homesick and rush home right away. ;A;
- Wow, 100 takes for that building jumping scene in MAMA. Must've hurt.
- Your lipgloss. lol.
- Apparently got chosen as leader because he can speak the most languages so he's better globally? (I kind of figured it was something like that... not to mention the intimidating stature.)

Chen:
- Please speak to us. ;_; But he still spoke more than yesterday.
- Didn't sing because it's early in the morning and he didn't warm up.
- Had to fumble through a Chinese tongue twister. *pats on back*
- Aw, your Mandarin attempt! XD

Xiu Min:
- That awkward moment when the male MC asks you how you take care of your pale skin.
- Also had to fumble through the tongue twister. *pats on back*
- Was very lively. I bet he'll talk a lot on shows once he gets better at Mandarin. c:
- I wonder why they needed 3 days for your MAMA shots... I mean, other than the dancing, you were just sitting in a room and staring at Suho through a mirror. I don't get it.

What am I doing with my life? What are exams? What is chemistry?
Another live chat tomorrow though! And Sehun's birthday! And EXO-K on Music bank! (I think)
k, back to psychology.

10th-Apr-2012 01:49 am - EXO-M livechat

Sina hates me. For real.

I couldn't watch the stupid awards ceremony on my laptop (and the wi-fi betrayed me on the other laptop when it was working perfectly fine for the parts when EXO-M wasn't appearing) and now, it wouldn't let me watch the livechat for the same reasons. orz So I spent the hour following the chat and thankfully, there are kind (and rather amusing) souls who translated the gist of it as it progressed. c: (Thank you, really!)

Anyway, as I'm in the process of actually watching the recorded versions, I will ramble here:

Kris:
- You actually smile way more than people give you credit for and it is a very good thing. (Keep smiling. c:)
- You also talk more than I thought you would.
- I think you're a perfect leader. c:
- "I can fly" *flying motions with hands* and "I'm a dragon" = XD
- Your chinglish <3
- Rapping the English part of Two Moons!
- Sleep talking in 3 languages like a boss.
- The fact that you're a lazy bum who can't resist Tao's aegyo <3
- Popular amongst more mature/older women? I assure you, from what I've seen so far, you're very popular amongst the younger fans as well.

Lay:
- You awkward bundle of cuteness. I love you. <3
- "I'm a unicorn." (*me crying from laughter*)
- Um, the fact that Lay is actually "lei" which is the pinyin for "Lightning"... (so... pinyin fail?)
- The irony in the fact that you like eating snacks the most. (Do you, perhaps, enjoy eating Lay's?)
- So you'll clean up after your snacks but... aren't neat with your clothes? ._.
- The cook? ^U^
- Will revert to staring and awkward silence when unsure/confused. XD
- *plays "Nobody" to make him dance* Lay: ................. I forgot this dance. (*me crying from laughter*)
- Tao's aegyo is ineffective on him. *gasp*
- Apparently very funny. (I can sense that actually.)

Chen:
- Why don't you talk more? :c
- Your Mandarin isn't bad. (Although, considering I'm not Chinese, I wouldn't be a reliable judge.)
- Heavenly voice~ I honestly think your voice is better live, as far as I can tell. (That doesn't happen often.)
- Why did you sing more quietly than usual in "Baby Don't Cry"?
- Cutie. <3

Xiu Min:
- Prankster/Jester of the group! lol
- I can't wait until you improve on your Mandarin. You seem like you'd have very interesting things to say.
- Your sudden screamo. XD
- Singing JJ Lin! <3
- The neatest. I shall dub you umma! c:
- My adorable little bun. <3 I want to squish you.

Tao:
- You are just plain adorable. Let me love you! :3
- Using your aegyo to get what you want and sneakily revealing things about your hyungs in a way that could be misunderstood. Definitely one of those sneaky, evil maknaes. I like. c:
- Your closeness to Kris because of how much he helped you in your trainee days is cute.
- Your rap~
- Your flip~ (But you really shouldn't have done that if you aren't fully healed. D:<)
- Oooh, rooming with a staff member to learn more Korean. (but... still... I feel lonely for you.)
- Aw, don't have an ideal type because you're concentrating on your training? So innocent!

Lu Han:
- I am seriously in love with your voice. Speaking or singing. Your Beijing accent! (I also think that you sound better live from what I have heard so far.)
- Germaphobe about other people on your bed and kicking people off it. (lol- same.)
- Another lazy hyung who's hard to wake up. (yup, same here. I'm always last one up. So when I woke up early yesterday to watch the awards show livestream, although that didn't work out, they thought I didn't sleep. >.>)
- Doesn't know how to do aegyo. But seriously, you don't need it, you naturally cute baby-faced man! >U<
- I am convinced, from all the member interactions I've seen from you, that you are a very touchy-feely. I like.
- Aw, you haven't visited your parents yet? :c But your teachers/school mates seemed very nice. (And... why were the majority of those juniors... female? *suspicious*)
- Popular amongst school-aged girls. (Undoubtedly.)
- You like quiet and gentle girls? (I've got socially awkward quiet down and I can be gentle when not angry. Marry me!)
- So.. the only special ability you can think of is  the rubix cube? An impressive talent. Sadly less so when a good portion of my friends solve rubix... well, all sorts of weird shapes. And one of them is apparently a record holder. (LIES! XD I bet, later on, we discover a magnificent talent that he's been hiding.) Then gets forced to sing by traitorous evil maknae. XD

EXO-M in general:
- Adorable and awkward!
- Will revert to silence when confused/uncertain.
- This is kind of unrelated but I really like their fashion sense... ._.
- I love you all! <3

Random: I feel like I'm overusing this avatar recently... (although Lu Han is a darling.) I should make a second EXO avatar! >:D
EXO is making it so hard to study for exams. orz

luhan

4.8.2012 is a special day. Today, EXO (both EXO-M and EXO-K) have finally debuted! Rejoice! (I'm not sure if SM planned this, with their insistence on making connections with EXO's debut and supernatural forces like the moon cycle and the like but... the date numbers... their multiples. O_O [4, 8, 12] I'm over thinking right?)

Firstly, the MAMA MV delivered.

I appreciated the fact that they played to the story that is played in the beginning (and from the showcases. I still can't help but laugh at how strange it sounds, in general. And how it sounds like Morgan Freeman/Dumbledore was narrating it.) by drawing parallels between the two versions (such as Kris' dragon and Chanyeol's phoenix, etc). However, they could have definitely put a lot more plot into the videos and that would have definitely made my day. I still say EXO would be the perfect actors for a Final Fantasy live action, if any one was crazy enough to do it. (since you really have to be if you decide to do it)
The dance, as I've mentioned before, is wonderful. I did notice though that they changed the dance a bit from the live in the showcase (same for History actually, when Lay/Sehun dances after the first lines in the video and the actual singers during that part - Baekhyun and Tao - do it instead in the live, for instance). I'm not sure if I like this fact or not. On one hand, it seems to mean that SM will play around with the member positions and dances for their lives, which is interesting but, at the same time, I liked some of the moves before the changes. (Like that violin part. Did I mention how much I like that violin part. Yes, I did. But I'll reiterate it because that's how much I like it.)
I wanted to see more scenes with 12 of the members, especially scenes wherein they meet with all their powers but, I guess that goes against the "same ground, different skies" concept. The dance break portion could have been done with all the members just as they had in the showcase instead of just the main dancers but I guess it's okay.
The screamo part isn't my favourite in the song/video but I can live with it. I preferred Kris and Xiu Min's face painting way more than Kai's (as does everyone, I'm guessing) because it's much more artistic and conceptual than making their faces into a living billboard. -_- Kris' was probably my favourite; I like how it incorporated his symbol. I don't understand why their face painting in the dance section after the screamo section is different though. And I kind of wanted to see what the other members' faces looked like up close. (Lu Han looked like a cat! X3 I don't know, maybe it's just me.)
Their hair was normal! (This is mostly for Chanyeol. He has such pretty hair, don't ruin it with poodle hair!) For the most part! (I'm looking at you and your croissant hair, Lay. Is it because you wanted to have a unicorn horn? And I still can't discern whether Chen's hair is partially green at some point or not.) They should tell their stylists to stop crimping (or whatever it's called. I'm typing it out by ear from what my sister said) their hair. I also liked how their clothes weren't too over the top, adhering to the song's concept, but they were still very stylish. (I really want those clothes. *0*) And the immense amount of guyliner in the MV! *faints* Baekhyun, you just do your thing. I think I prefer Lu Han without it though. (You're handsome enough already.)

I still don't think I'm ever going to sing it in public though. Especailly when they moan "MAMA". (It's very attractive... but not when people stare at you and judge you for it.)

We also got their double debuts today!

Firstly, I'd like to say that the dance feels incomplete without 6 other members. >.< It just goes to show that they are truly ONE!
Secondly, I really appreciate the fact that they were wearing their symbols. Not only in the performances but in the red carpet, for EXO-M! Ingenious, I tell you. (Plus, they look amazing in suits. Just saying.) And I really want those symbols. Seriously.

I got to livestream EXO-K's Ingikayo performance and I am pleased. (Getting to see SHINee and CN Blue didn't hurt either. Taemin didn't have extensions today! Both of them were flawless, obviously.)
Their nervousness in the interview was adorable! c: Oh, D.O, you amuse me. And someone needs to get Sehun to talk more. When they asked for the focus point of the dance, I really didn't want them to do it because I was worried about Kai but, they still did it... >.< I want him to rest! (I hope he's okay now... :c)
Yes, I wanted them to sing live but, considering Kai's injury and the numerous subsequent ones among the others (Baekhyun got hit in the eye by some sparks from the pyrotechnics and Sehun apparent fell at some point because the floors were slippery), I don't mind. They performed very well and I'm proud of them. Since Tao isn't there to do his flip, I was curious about the dance break; Chanyeol could have done more than just raise his hands but I'm fine with it.
And the fanmeeting! I'm so envious! I'm also glad that the Korean fans took the time to give them gifts and cheer on them. c: And Suho apologizing for not taking care of Baekhyun both warms and breaks my heart. D: (Don't feel bad! It isn't your fault!)

I missed the red carpet for EXO-M since I figured that I should sleep even for a little while today. But the stupid livestream didn't work in my laptop for some reason and I had to grab the communal one. Then that one ended because apparently it was only going to stream the first hour and fifty minutes so I raged and shut down the laptop only to find out that another link would work. And when I tried accessing it, the wi-fi failed me. orz. Right when EXO-M was coming out. fml. Thankfully, someone posted it right away but still. I wanted to see Lu Han it live for their debut performance. :c
They were amazing as well. Personally, I think their performance was better but the camera man! Ugh. It was bad camera work. (Actually, I kind of feel that way about some parts of EXO-K's too.) Well, there's that and the fact that the livestream had horrible quality.
While this should be a good day, the fact that the MC and one of the Mainland groups insulted EXO-M just made this a very melancholy experience. I really don't want them to remember their debut like this, feeling rejected by their own homeland (at least for the Chinese members) just because they were from a Korean company. While I understand that the MC didn't know any better and that the other group wanted to promote the less developed Chinese idol music industry, that's rather rude, especially since you're saying it right in their faces. Despite these, EXO-M still remained so professional and polite so kudos to them (Kris, you will be a great leader as well!) but, obviously, they'll be hurt from this. :c (Apparently that was a rumour/false account. But it doesn't mean that they don't have feelings.)

It's unfortunate that such a happy occasion would be marred by multiple injuries and insults. I really want to support them as much as I can. (but I'm not sure if onee-sama is buying the mini album for me... ;A; Why?) I hope the rest of their promotions go well despite all the meaningless and rather idiotic fanwars as well as their slights.

EXO fighting! Jia you!

(EXO's mini album was supposed to come out today, well April 9 - which is what it already is in Korea, but it isn't yet. ._____. Not this again SM. You aren't going to make me wait like I did for the showcase, are you?)

The MAMA mini album is beautiful!
But why did they remove the "roll like a buffalo" part in Two Moons? (Did they realize how ridiculous it was and that it has become a fan joke? But we still loved that part! >.<) Chanyeol's voice. *swoon* I don't even really like rap much but ever since EXO, I'm more accepting of it. How can I not when they sound so good? ;A;
Angel is perfect! I didn't expect the slow beginning but I'm liking it after getting used to it. (Can I just love all your voices unconditionally?)
Machine is such a surprise. From the teaser, I didn't know what to expect but I love it. Seriously.
Don't make me decide which version I like more. OT12. That's my answer!

luhan
I'm seriously contemplating whether I should stay up to watch this when it's released at 5:00 KTS. (Why at that time?! I don't understand! orz) But I shall watch it in all its HD glory, whether I stay up or not. (and be forever distracted from my work)

And I need that mini album. Seriously. NOW. (But I am a poor university student... and my money's going to AN this year. Drat.) I must find a kind soul to buy me both! (And maybe I'll pay for the full album myself when it comes out. Unless someone is willing to buy that too, of course.)

But it's only the mini album, meaning most of their teaser songs aren't there! orz SM, you troll. I was hoping for at least "Baby, Don't Cry"... ;A;

And SM Town in NY! It's so close yet so far away! TT_________TT SHINee and EXO (and the other groups to a lesser extent) on the same stage! Why is this city (country, actually. Which I don't get because Kris and Henry come from Canada... -____-) so irrelevant?

Oh, this life I live.

------
Random: Why are fandoms so scary? Especially the shippers? I should be used to it considering I've been immersed in fandoms since I got regular internet access,  starting with JE and expanding from there but I've never really understood shipping. I've mentioned that I don't really ship pairs and, although I said HunHan is real, I meant like in a really close, best friend forever kind of way. But, evidently, most people don't see it that way. Can't they just be with each other as they usually are without having fans shove their delusional fantasies pairings down their throats? Sadly, I don't think fans will stop doing this.
luhan
Once again, I stayed up waiting for the EXO showcase. (ahaha- who needs sleep? Yeah, I'm a total insomniac.)

Although we didn't have as many real-time updates because, apparently, they weren't allowed (woah- I totally just said arrowed in my head. darn engrish.) to bring cameras or recorders, it was exciting. And, when I woke up, I had the pleasant surprise of finding some of the best fancams from the showcase that supposedly wouldn't have any. (Oh, SM, you underestimate fans.) You Chinese EXO fans are wonderful people! Although you kind of freaked them out at the airport.

I guess the fact that the venue was puny compared to the Korean one contributed to that fact. I'm so jealous of all of you lucky fans, especially those who got to see them up close! >.< And you got to hear them speak and understand their answers to the questions and everything! DX

[Random: omg. It turns out that the nick name I've been calling Xiu Min in my head, Xiao Long Bao, is actually close to what he's called in the group. O_O Oh you adorable Golden Steamed Bun! >U<]

The Chinese version of "MAMA" was as epic as the Korean version. (I've seriously been listening to it for 24 hours straight. It's addicting.) That violin part still gets me. As well as that hand thing Baekhyun/Lu Han (depending on which version. Oh, lookie. They just happen to be my favourite members. Weird.) in the beginning and the part where Kris/Kai (ditto) lean on the other members.

But what really stole my heart was the full version (or at least I think it was the full version) of "Into your world" in Chinese. Their voices~~~~ ;A; Lu Han, can I hug you? It's not even a sad song but it made me tear up because of how amazingly beautiful it was. (But, if this is the full version, why are only 4 members singing? Same for the Korean one, which only had 3? -_____- I'm pretty sure the rappers can sing too, don't hide them from me, SM! And I want a longer version than this!)

Now that the showcases are over, their debut is next week and I am dying of anticipation! (But China doesn't have nearly as many music programs as Korea does so... does this mean I won't be able to see Lu Han? O_O Is this why they're going to be guests in SS4 Indonesia?)
EDIT: Debut will be pushed back because of Tao and Kai's injuries. ;A; Get well soon!

But today is also the day EXO-M and EXO-K are separated. TT________________________TT

Just take my soul away already! HunHan are going to be star-crossed lovers/brothers/best friends/whatever-beautiful-relationship-they're-in-is. TTATT

For now, I'll just stare at the MAMA teaser because it is a work of art.

31st-Mar-2012 08:47 pm - These EXO feelings~~~~
They have finished their Korean showcase and are on their way to Beijing for the Chinese one!

I cannot even begin to describe my feelings at this moment. I stayed up the whole time, stalking Tumblr because there was no livestream, and was trying extremely hard not to wake anyone with all the fangirling. I'm just so proud and happy for them. They have really blown me away. I was over the moon the whole day and not even chemistry (oh, how I loathe thee) can ruin these feelings.

Some thoughts before I return to stalking the EXO tag studying:

- The moment when they first began dancing History together as 12 honestly made me tear up. It was beyond beautiful.
I seriously wish they could perform as 12 all the time but, let's be honest, with a group of 12, it will be difficult for them. (I mean Suju's individual screen times are really short and have left many unsatisfied.) I will happily satisfy myself with these during their concerts/whatever. But I demand that all their performances have a 12-member version with the mixed Chinese and Korean parts.

- HunHan is real.

I don't even ship. Ever. Not Akame, not RyoPi, not OhMiya (although all their bromances made me happy). The closest I've come to actually shipping a pair were probably YunJae (if anything, this is the real deal) and YamaBu (need I explain more? Shoon and Yabu's bromance is adorable. Any argument against it is invalid.)
But then their interactions are so adorable and genuine! (Even without you saying that you fell for Lu Han, we can see you Sehun. And Sehun frikkin knows about HunHan.) And some of the fanfics (because they already exist!) of this pair are just amazingly written.
Just take my soul already and don't separate them! ;A;

- Tao, you are such a precious and awkward darling and I want to hug you. >_________< Please don't hesitate to rely on your hyungs. And I refuse to believe we (you too, D.O) are the same age. No. It does not compute.

- Chanyeol's the leader of EXO-K? I thought it was Suho? :S I don't even know especially since some people have been saying that it was a joke. *confused* Apparently it was really a joke.

- Speaking of Chanyeol, your hair! >u< All those pictures of you with that hair and that dorky smile! All I can say is: AHAHAHAHAHA!!!

- Their debut song: MAMA! It's amazing, simply put. Rather unique musically, which suits them perfectly. It kind of reminds me of Final Fantasy. (One winged angel, to be more specific. Sephiroth! Sephiroth!) That violin part is perfect. And Xiu Min got more lines (from the little we could tell)! (It has currently replaced History from its replay position.)

- Who am I kidding? Everything is perfect! The 12 of them are such wonderful, talented boys and they deserve all this perfection. My only lament is that I wanted to be there personally and see more! MORE! orz

I can't wait for the 5th for the official release of the full showcase and the 9th for their official debut. April will be beautiful (other than the fact that it's exam time >.>).  For now, I will eagerly await the Chinese showcase! (Guess who's sleeping late tonight again?)

Unrelated note: why won't my emoji work? ;A; And I now have a my Lu Han avatar. <3

26th-Mar-2012 08:51 pm - Inori + FIRE BEAT

I was waiting since their debut for these PVs! (Especially since most of the SC performances have vanished off streaming sites. As usual.) I'm so glad for the studio version! Now I can replace my SC clips.

Inori:
It was rather plain and nothing like the CM. I was looking forward to it since it's one of my favourite Kis-my-ft2 songs. They also didn't really show the dance except the hand movements in the end, which is understandable considering it's a slower song but some people might be upset. The only redeeming features of the video was the fact that we actually see clear close ups of the other members (le gasp!) and Senga actually gets his solo part! (double le gasp!) Other than that, we see yet another 3:4 division (really? REALLY?!) from their clothes to their close ups and singing parts. I know that Hiro and Fujigaya get most of the singing lines in the song (like always) but I don't really remember Tamamori having those parts... -____- Is that just me?

FIRE BEAT:
Again, nothing like the CM. Johnny was obviously lazy because the graphics were as bad as (maybe worse) than JYJ's "Ayy Girl". (Trust me, that's bad.) Yes, we know that it's called "Fire Beat" but making them dance with badly CG'd fire around them isn't what this song deserves. Plus they changed the choreography and positions. (3:4 again... Evident in the clothes and solo shots too...) WHY?!
I will say that I am very glad to see a performance of this song without Fujigaya's awful hair from before their debut. I can't say the same for Tamamori. (I quite liked your straight brown hair... Not the gelled pompadour or whatever you would call it.)

All in all... disappointed. If this is how they're going to make PVs of their pre-debut songs, I'd rather they don't. I preferred the CM. (And I'd also like to see the other members actually sing but I don't think that's going to happen anytime soon. I really want to see Nika though~) I wouldn't mind if they made studio versions of their pre-debut songs though. They wouldn't fudge those up by doing the 3:4 thing again, would they? (please say no.)

I just noticed that I never commented on the ABC-z PVs... uh... another time... On a random note, guess who got all of EXO's teasers today? XD

Always
